Power World Ltd. is an electronics company based in Accra. It is run by highly trained electrical engineers who have over the past decade gained vast experience in the areas of activity of the company, having worked in similar capacity in various companies in the country. Power World has an excellent track record of innovative and high quality work.

Power World has the capacity to provide high quality services in power electronics for the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors of the Ghanaian economy. It is our vision to continue to supply efficient and reliable services in industrial electronics, power supply systems, solar power systems, and energy saving methods and devices.


Andrew Etwire is the Executive and Technical Director of Power World Ltd. He holds an M.Phil in Power Electronics from Cambridge University, England and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. 

He is also the Technical Production Manager of Global Resource Innovative Technology Ltd., a company providing Hospital Nurse Call Systems, Networking (WAN & LAN), Communication Systems and independent Solar Power solutions for lighting and telecommunications.
He was formerly an Electrical Engineer with Millicom Ghana Limited (Mobitel), and Technical manager of Solar Light Company Ltd.

Eric C. Fiafor is an Industrial Engineering Consultant affiliated to Power World Ltd. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from UST Kumasi, a Diploma (UST) in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering and an OTD (City and Guilds) Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.

He has a rich and varied experience in the fields of Automation (PLC), Instrumentation, Power Utilization, Electronics and Communication, with 11 years expertise in advanced trouble shooting, maintenance, design, production and installation. He also holds the positions of Managing Director and Project Manager (Engineering) at MAFEC Electrical & Electronics and Solarco Ltd. respectively.

Solomon Djimatey provides technical support for major Schneider Electric Products including installation, service and commissioning in Ghana. He is involved in Application Engineering Services, power system studies for new installations, system expansions/upgrades, power system protection, power factor correction and system integration services (designing and building control panels) using a variety of electrical and electronic products per customers’ specifications.

He holds a B.Sc. from the School of Electrical/Electronic Engineering of University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.He also organizes seminars on new automation products to improve manufacturing, industrial control products and power system products.
